MURRAY ROSE POOL (REDLEAF)
#OCEAN
Looking for a quick dip without venturing too far? Murray Rose harbour pool could be just the spot for you.
Offering a promenade-bordered swimming area, grassy lawns for sand-phobes and a recently renovated kiosk, this popular swimming gem in Sydney’s Double Bay packs a punch.
TIP: Get in early to score yourself a free parking spot at Woollahra council & library up top.

LA PEROUSE
LITTLE CONGWONG
#NUDE
Forgotten your swimmers? No problem. This beautiful clothing optional beach set within a national park along the coast of La Perouse is quickly becoming one of Sydney’s best beaches to really unwind and have fun over summer..
Whether you enjoy parading your package along the sand, or watching it all unfold from around the rocks, Little Congwong surely delivers an experience to remember.
TIP: Stick to the pathway if playing it safe.

EASTERN SUBURBS
PARSLEY BAY
#SUSPENSIONBRIDGE
Starting note: Sadly you cannot jump from the bridge into the water.
This hidden diamond in Sydney’s Eastern suburbs is the perfect dipping spot this summer.
Offering a trio of grassy lawns, sunny rocks and a sandy beach area, topped off by an overhanging suspension bridge, Parsley Bay is that perky all-rounder we try to hate but just can’t ignore.
TIP: Make it a double-dip and walk over to Nielsen Park to swim with the sharks* at Shark Beach.

CITY
PRINCE ALFRED PARK POOL
YELLOW UMBRELLAS
Bright yellow umbrellas and a 2 minute walk from central station, what’s not to love?
This inner-city pool designed by the late Nick Mercutt and Julia Neeson of Sydney architecture firm Neeson Mercutt offers so much more than a place to dip your toes.
The original Prince Alfred Park pool dates back to 1954 and was closed for 15 years until the City of Sydney realised the area really needed its urban oasis back.
Whether it’s a few laps on lunch, or a Sunday splash & siesta, this concrete dreamland definitely delivers.

NORTHSIDE
MACCALLUM POOL, CREMORNE POINT
#HARBOURVIEWS
A swim with a view you may ask? Done.
A longtime favourite for North Sydney-siders and anyone who dares to cross the bridge, this small but functional harbour-side pool ticks quite a few boxes.
Kill two gulls with one chip and invite your Northside friends to show you still enjoy their company.
If there weren’t enough animals basking by the pool you could always make it a day and trek over to Taronga for a sunset sure to break the internet.
TIP: Enjoy the journey and make it extra atmospheric by taking a ferry from Circular Quay.
