Shade Files offers free shipping Australia wide on all orders over 100AUD as standard. See below for our other standards for shipping and returns.

EASY RETURNS

We know trying on sunglasses is personal and not every style will fit perfectly. We try to make the return process as easy as possible. Please return your item within 14 days of delivery by emailing returns@shadefiles.com.au with your order number and the reason for return. Please read our returns policy for further details.

Unfortunately at this stage Shade Files does not cover the cost of returns.

Please note a $10AUD restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount when you return an item without an exchange. To process an exchange please return the item using our returns process and purchase the desired item separately.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We offer international and secure shipping for all of our products. All global shipments are covered by our courier secure agreement, ensuring products arrive safely and on time. International shipping fees are calculated in relevant currency.

All International shipments take anywhere between 5 - 15 working days to arrive.

Shade Files does not take responsibility for any delays caused by relevant country customs processing or by shipping services during peak seasonal times (ie Black Friday or Christmas).

OUR RETURNS POLICY

We happily accept returns on full priced items within 14 days of purchase for a credit note or refund. All items & packaging must be unused and in original condition.

* Please note for any Christmas gift purchases, you will have until January 2nd of the following year to contact us for an exchange.

Please choose carefully as we do not accept returns or exchanges on sale, discounted, customised or optical items.

For all returns, please contact us at returns@shadefiles.com.au. Unfortunately at this stage your return postage costs are non refundable, unless the items are found to be faulty.

When purchasing items as part of a Buy One Get One (BOGO) promotion, the promotional discount is based on the lowest priced item, then applied to each item proportionately. If you choose to return any of the items, your refund will be reduced to the discounted amount for each item.

Here is an example:
Buy One, Get One 50% Off: If your first qualifying item is $60 and your second qualifying item is $40, the $60 item will be discounted by $12 and the $40 item will be discounted by $8, which gives a total discount of $20. If either item is returned, the return value will be equal to the original purchase price reduced by its prorated discount.

HOW DO I RETURN AN ITEM?

Please contact us at returns@shadefiles.com.au within 7 days of receiving your order providing your order number and brief explanation of your return/exchange. We will then issue you with a Returns Authorisation Number (RA#).

All items are to be returned within 14 days from the date of issue of your RA#. Items received after the 14-day time frame will be assessed at our discretion. Items returned without an RA# will not be accepted and will be returned at your expense.

If you need to return an item, for security and peace of mind, we recommend that you use an insured registered post as we are not liable for any lost returned items.

I HAVE RETURNED AN ITEM, WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Once your returns package has been accepted, you will either receive your refund on the cost at purchase (excluding any shipping cost) directly to the credit card from your original transaction. A confirmation email will be sent out to confirm your refund/exchange. For any questions regarding the return/exchange process, please email us at returns@shadefiles.com.au.

EXCESSIVE RETURNS

Shade Files monitors returns to identify potential abuse or misuse of our return policies. Continued returns will be flagged and potentially refused at our discretion, or lead to the closure of your Shade Files customer account.
